NEWS (when there is some!):

The SNC has announced that householders need to put cardboard into the black boxes for recycling.  This means that green bins are solely for garden waste with no paper content. The change has arisen because composting sites no longer accept cardboard.  Large cardboard boxes should be flattened and tied up, being placed under the black box. Smaller pieces can be placed in carrier or clear bags, not black bin liners. Carrier bags can also be used for extra cans and plastics. Black bins/boxes should be outside by 7.00am.
Phone books and shredded paper should go into the green box.  Paper which won’t fit into the green box can also be put into carrier bags.

Thorpe Mandeville Parish Council does not make any planning decisions.  The council is advised of relevant planning applications by the SNC, the local planning authority, and invited to make comments.
